Fractional Product + Platform Lead
Leadership engagement
Put senior product and platform leadership inside the transformation.
Roadmap and architecture decisions drift apart while dependencies wait for scarce executive attention. PMs need coaching, teams need one decision cadence, and a permanent executive hire may be premature. Important change loses momentum between strategy and delivery.
Bounded scope · visible work · no forced upsell
The promised outcome
Keep strategy moving through delivery—with senior leadership.
A transformation roadmap and sustained decision/execution cadence, clear product/platform boundaries, visible outcomes, and stronger internal leadership through delivery.
Transformation roadmap
Maintain priorities, product/platform boundaries, cross-team sequence, and milestones around one agreed transformation.
Weekly decision and execution cadence
Resolve product/architecture tradeoffs with named decision rights and explicit advisory, leadership, and delivery ownership.
Leadership decision log
Retain evidence, rationale, owners, and follow-through behind important decisions.
Cross-team risk and dependency view
Expose dependencies and intervene early where commitments, architecture, or ownership create avoidable risk.
The problem this solves
Roadmap and architecture decisions drift apart while dependencies wait for scarce executive attention. PMs need coaching, teams need one decision cadence, and a permanent executive hire may be premature. Important change loses momentum between strategy and delivery. Best for an executive sponsor with a defined transformation, an agreed direction, and teams that need sustained senior operating leadership.
A leadership cadence that carries the change through.
Ongoing operating artifacts keep decisions, risks, ownership, and outcomes visible around a mandate agreed with your executive sponsor.

Outcome measures and monthly executive review
Review progress, adoption, delivery evidence, risks, and whether the transformation improves agreed outcomes.
PM coaching and team enablement
Build product/architecture alignment, stakeholder discipline, and reusable operating practices, including AI-assisted product operations where useful.
How this creates leverage
Keep decisions close to delivery and transfer the leadership context.
One primary transformation, one executive sponsor, agreed decision rights, weekly leadership work, and a monthly outcome review define the mandate.
- 01Align sponsor and teams on transformation, decision rights, capacity, and success measures.
- 02Embed product, platform, and architecture judgment in the weekly execution cadence.
- 03Review evidence, risks, dependencies, and outcomes with the sponsor each month.
- 04Coach internal leaders and transfer decisions and operating practices throughout.

Clear answers about fit, scope, timing, and what happens before any commitment.
Who is this engagement designed for?
Best for an executive sponsor with a defined transformation, an agreed direction, and teams that need sustained senior operating leadership.
What changes by the end?
A transformation roadmap and sustained decision/execution cadence, clear product/platform boundaries, visible outcomes, and stronger internal leadership through delivery.
How long does the engagement take?
Fractional Product + Platform Lead is planned around 3-month minimum. Final timing reflects access, evidence, and the number of teams involved.
What is intentionally not included?
Fractional operating leadership is bounded to one strategic transformation and an agreed cadence with a 3-month minimum. Generic staff augmentation, coverage for every executive role, and unbounded delivery ownership are outside the mandate.
What happens before I approve anything?
Bring the transformation, sponsor, leaders, and decision load. We will agree the mandate, decision rights, weekly capacity, and outcome measures before a three-month engagement.
Do you implement anything or only advise?
The written mandate specifies operating leadership, advisory responsibilities, and delivery ownership. Your teams remain accountable for the agreed implementation work.
Will we be required to use Agenty software?
No. We work with your existing environment where feasible. You retain the reusable artifacts and continuation plan; a follow-on purchase or Agenty software license is optional.
How is this different from additional staff capacity?
The mandate is senior cross-functional operating leadership for a defined transformation, with a sponsor, decision rights, weekly cadence, and outcome measures. Capacity and delivery ownership are written down before approval.
Why a three-month minimum?
Sustained leadership needs time to establish a cadence, carry decisions through execution, and review outcomes. Monthly executive reviews keep progress and the mandate explicit.
